CIMA+ Building Electrical Engineer role in Beauce area involves designing electrical systems for buildings, performing surveys, and producing plans using AutoCAD and Revit. You will work with a team of engineers and drafters, ensuring code compliance while contributing to high-performance projects across Canada.

Requires a bachelor’s in electrical engineering and proficiency in Revit/AutoCAD, with French fluency as essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations.
• Minimum of two years' relevant experience.
• Strong proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication in French; English is an asset.
• Knowledge of AGI32 is an asset.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Participate in electrical building design, including distribution and lighting (AGI32).
• Perform field surveys and layout work.
• Produce plans/models using AutoCAD and Revit.

Mission

We are looking for a Building Electrical Engineer in the Beauce area. As a key player in building electrical projects, the Engineer will contribute to the design of plans and models, perform surveys, and assist the engineering team in the realization of projects in the commercial, industrial, institutional and hospital sectors. They will work in a dynamic environment, as part of a team of engineers, technicians and drafters, on challenging projects. This person will evolve within a passionate team in a context where initiative and trust are strongly encouraged.

Main responsibilities

• Participate in the electrical design of the building, such as electrical distribution, lighting including AGI32 calculation, fire alarm, etc.
• Perform field surveys and layouts
• Produce plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software
• Ensure compliance with norms and standards for plans and models
• Conduct site visits and participate in certain stages of work supervision
• Perform calculations and equipment searches under the supervision of the project engineer.
• Profile

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
• Knowledge of building electrical codes and regulations
• Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience
• Good command of Revit and AutoCAD software
• Excellent communication skills in French, both written and spoken. Knowledge of English is considered an asset due to occasional interactions with CIMA+ stakeholders across Canada
• Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software (an asset)
• ASP Construction card (an asset)
• Valid Driver's license.
