The State of Indiana's Adjutant General's Office is seeking a custodial supervisor to oversee cleaning and maintenance at Stout Field, ensuring quality tasks, safety compliance, and timely reporting. You will supervise staff, coordinate inter-agency efforts, and manage daily workflow in a demanding government environment.

• Through knowledge of standard process, practices, and procedures of the custodial trade.
• Advanced knowledge of operating custodial equipment.
• Considerable knowledge of Safety Data Sheets requirements and mixing of cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and direct the work of custodial staff.
• Use and maintenance of power equipment and hand tools.
• Advanced knowledge of cleaning chemicals and solvents and their appropriate applications.
• Ability to maintain good working relations with employees and department heads.
• Ability to keep and maintain records and prepare progress reports.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in high level offices.
• Ability to follow processes for handling biohazard materials.
• Ability to follow mold remediation procedures.

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for cleaning and custodial care including reporting of the need for; maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and operations of the building(s), equipment located at Stout Field. You will determine priority of work, schedule work and supervise assigned employees, inter-agency work crews, and contractor work.

A Day in the Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

• Supervise the use of custodial equipment and supplies.
