• Registered Building Inspector/Plan Reviewer with Michigan registration within the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Reviews construction plans for residential and commercial building sites.
• Conducts field inspections for active permits, addressing code violations and approving site inspections.
• Completes field inspection reports and enters results and follow‑ups electronically.
• Writes building code violations and posts Stop Work Notices and safety violations.
• Acts as public liaison for building code issues and land uses, and for Township zoning ordinances.
