Job summary

Clean Office, Inc. is seeking a dependable janitorial associate to perform daily cleaning tasks and building inspections at our Herndon, VA facilities. You will clean interior common areas, entryways, washrooms, and handle light maintenance duties while ensuring a safe, uncluttered environment.

Operations coordination with the Property Management team is required. A background check is mandatory, and English communication is essential for daily updates and safety reporting.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Preferred High School Diploma or GED.
• Must pass background check.
• Must follow all directives and maintain validity of employment verification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily inspections of building exterior and interior.
• Perform general janitorial duties: sweeping, mopping, cleaning entry doors and glass.
• Mid-day cleaning of washrooms and other misc. cleaning as needed.
• Receive shipments at loading dock and move palletized/boxed equipment within the facility.
• Organize storage areas and remove trash/recyclables.
• Support Property Management/Property Engineering to ensure safe building operation.
• Communicate with staff and supervisors about daily operations; use reporting systems when available.
• Follow safety policies and OSHA standards; maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform emergency cleanup as needed and respond to urgent situations.
