Job summary

ATS Automation, Inc. in Portland, Oregon seeks a hands-on professional to lead start up and commissioning of building automation systems, and to learn how to modify and create project-specific controls programming.

You will keep field diagrams up to date and reflect accurate on-site conditions. You will interface with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, test custom front ends to meet design intent, and support owner training during project closeout.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in an Applied Technologies field.
• Exposure to electronics and basic electrical circuits.
• Exposure to basic programming concepts.
• Experience troubleshooting basic and complex problems.
• Ability to work both in teams and on personal projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup and commissioning of building automation systems.
• Modify and create project-specific controls programming.
• Update field drawings and diagrams to reflect on-site conditions.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Functionally test front ends to meet design intent and end-user needs.
• Support owner training during project closeout.
• Maintain field documentation and UL panel tagging.
• Travel locally with infrequent out-of-state travel.
