Job summary

Siemens is seeking a Building Automation Systems Specialist to lead BAS startup, commissioning, and integration across our Southeast footprint. You will ensure systems meet design specs, document progress, and collaborate with a supervisor and lead technicians on site.

Requires electro-mechanical background, 1+ year BAS experience, ability to read construction docs, and willingness to travel up to 85%. Must be US-based with a valid driver's license and work authorization.

Qualifications

• Electro-mechanical experience and basic PC/software skills.
• 1+ year of Building Automation systems experience.
• Ability to read and understand design/construction documents.
• Willing to work in varied conditions and heights; able to access ducts, ladders and roofs.
• Ability to differentiate wire colors and use hand tools and mobile devices.
• Team player with customer focus; able to work with engineers and technicians.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• 21+ with valid driver's license and eligibility for Siemens fleet program.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willing to travel 85% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with BAS startup and commissioning per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with team; report to Supervisor and Mentor.
• Assist commissioning of Distributed Digital Control systems on construction sites.
• Document commissioning details and communicate deficiencies.
• Plan work with mentor and Team Leader.
• Complete commissioning within planned timelines.
• Submit accurate time-keeping daily and expenses weekly.
• Work overtime when needed.
• Travel up to 85% across states.
