Job summary

Integra Mission Critical, LLC is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to lead testing and validation of building automation and control systems. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, calibration, and collaboration with clients, contractors, and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of commissioning experience, proficiency with BAS platforms (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Honeywell), and the ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in commissioning building automation or controls systems
• Proficiency with BAS platforms (Siemens, Johnson Controls, Reliable Controls, Honeywell)
• Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and networking for control systems
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
• Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
• LEED AP Certification or CCP or similar is preferred
• OSHA 10-30 Safety Training and BAS/Controls Manufacturer Certifications are advantageous

Responsibilities

• Commission, test, and validate building automation HVAC and control systems
• Troubleshoot sensors, actuators, controllers, and networked systems
• Perform system calibrations, tuning, and adjustments for optimal performance
• Review wiring diagrams, control schematics, and technical documentation
• Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and contractors during installation and turnover
• Document commissioning results, create test reports, and support closeout
• Provide technical support, training, and guidance to clients
• Ensure compliance with project specs, safety standards, and regulations
• Support punch lists and system optimization during warranty period
