Job summary

Uline is seeking a Building Automation and Controls Manager to lead BAS strategy, optimize systems, and guide engineering talent across our 55+ facilities. The role requires developing a high-performing team and driving upgrades while ensuring security and standard processes across locations.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in BAS with HVAC expertise, a Bachelor's in engineering (Masters preferred), and willingness to travel to North American sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Building Automation Systems experience including BAS programming.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and optimization of HVAC controls and BAS across 55+ facilities.
• Develop and mentor a team of Building System Engineers.
• Maintain and support system upgrades, cybersecurity policies and standard processes.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead the design and direct optimization of HVAC controls and Building Automation Systems (BAS) for our growing portfolio of 55+ buildings.
• Develop a team of Building System Engineers to ensure efficient operations and performance standards are met.
• Maintain and support system upgrades, cybersecurity policies and standard processes throughout the organization.
• Partner with the Operations and Construction teams to identify improvements for building controls.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of Building Automation Systems experience including BAS programming.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems.
• Available for travel to Uline's North American locations.
