Job summary

NWPX Infrastructure is seeking workers to produce a wide variety of pre-cast products daily to established standards and quality specifications. You will set up steel forms, read blue prints, and pour concrete into molds, while operating forklifts and other heavy equipment.

Ideal candidates have basic math skills, can read tape measures, and handle power tools; HS diploma or GED is required. Team-oriented and punctual attendance is essential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Setting up steel forms including cutting and tying rebar/steel mesh caging and pouring concrete into molds
• Read blue prints and CAD drawings
• Rework and patch product
• Operating heavy duty industrial equipment including forklifts
• Be a team player and willing to help out as needed and requested
• Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

• Must understand basic math skills, read and apply tape measure, use of various power tools

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Past experience working with hand tools, saws, air tools, grinders is preferred, not required
• Experience working with concrete would be preferred, not required
• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
