Job summary

BrothersTech seeks a Build Engineer to design, configure, and sustain automated build systems. You will own CI/CD pipelines across development to production, ensuring smooth releases and fast feedback.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Build Engineering/DevOps, strong Git, and hands-on Jenkins/GitHub Actions/GitLab CI/Azure DevOps experience. Expect collaboration with DevOps, QA, and Release teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in Build Eng/DevOps/CI/CD roles.
Strong knowledge of Git.
Hands-on with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps.
Experience with Maven, Gradle, MSBuild, Make, or CMake.
Strong scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell.
Experience with Linux and/or Windows build environments.
Understanding of SDLC and release management.
Experience troubleshooting complex build and dependency issues.
Knowledge of artifact repositories: Artifactory/Nexus/Azure Artifacts.
Strong understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain automated software build systems.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application development and deployment.
Automate build, packaging, testing, and release processes.
Manage build configurations across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
Troubleshoot build failures, dependency issues, and deployment problems.
Work with development teams to improve build performance and reliability.
Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and version control workflows.
Integrate automated testing and quality checks into build pipelines.
Maintain build scripts using Maven, Gradle, MSBuild, Make, CMake, or similar technologies.
Support containerized build environments using Docker/Kubernetes where applicable.
Implement build security, artifact management, and access controls.
Monitor build and pipeline performance and identify opportunities for optimization.
Maintain technical documentation for build processes and release procedures.
Collaborate with DevOps, QA, Software Engineering, and Release Engineering teams.
