Job summary

Qualifications

• Food preparation experience preferred.
• Standing and moving in kitchen and cafeteria.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to handle food, objects, and utensils.
• Food service permit or valid health/food handler card required by local or state authority.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and transport food and beverage items and supplies to buffet areas.
• Monitor buffet supplies and replenish items as needed.
• Ensure quality, taste, appearance, temperature and presentation.
• Welcome guests and respond to requests professionally.
• Purchase/requisition inventory to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain clean, organized buffet areas and equipment.
• Coordinate with other departments to promote teamwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
