Job summary

Green Dragon, part of Vireo Health, seeks a Budtender in Florida to deliver exceptional in-store customer service and product expertise. This in-person role supports sales, compliance, and merchandising while maintaining stock and store standards.

You will greet customers, answer questions, process orders, and promote products with knowledgeable recommendations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Sales experience in retail preferred.
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail.
• Ability to pass Level 2 Background Screening.
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and stand/walk for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in customers in a friendly, welcoming manner.
• Assist customers in-store and over the phone; process online orders.
• Engage customers with product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Use the POS system; handle cash with proper procedures.

What the role is about:

The Budtender promotes a positive, customer service-oriented work environment that is compliant with established policies and procedures. This in-person role ensures high levels of customer satisfaction by delivering excellent customer service and using product knowledge to enhance every customer’s in-store experience, while helping keep the store compliant, well-merchandised, and well-stocked.

What impact you’ll make:

• Greet and check in customers in a friendly, welcoming manner and achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Assist customers in store and over the phone and process online orders accurately
• Encourage sales by engaging customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge
• Use the POS system accurately and follow proper cash handling, safe audit, and change drop procedures
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and maintain a full understanding of the training and compliance binder
• Uphold company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise
• Uphold visual merchandising standards, ensuring signage, price tickets, and marketing materials are visible and up to date
• Maintain a clean, neat, and well-stocked store and complete general housekeeping duties
• Bring a positive attitude that contributes to a positive, customer-focused work environment

What you’ve accomplished:

• Sales experience in a retail store environment preferred, but not required
• Customer service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail
• Reliable, punctual, dependable, and trustworthy
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Availability to work 8-hour day and night shifts, plus weekends and holidays as needed
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Ability to pass a Level 2 Background Screening and obtain fingerprints within 72 hours of receiving an offer letter
• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs and to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach
• Reliable transportation to the store
