Job summary

Good-Day-Farm in Little Rock, AR is seeking a Budtender to greet patients, advise on cannabis products, and ensure a superior retail experience. You will help with product selections, maintain compliance, and handle POS transactions in a fast-paced dispensary environment.

The role requires knowledge of cannabis products, strong customer service, and reliable teamwork. Prior Budtender experience is welcome, and a background check will be conducted; state agent card is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with product selections.
• Advise on cannabis products based on needs, budgets, and reactions to strains.
• Keep abreast of new cannabis products and industry trends.
• Process patients’ payments using the dispensary POS system.
• Ensure the store is clean and well-organized.
• Educate patients on the safe use of their selected product.
• Correctly weigh, package, and label cannabis products as required.
• Check patient identifications to verify age and credentials.
• Take inventory and ensure sales floor is stocked.
• Complete opening and closing tasks and maintain compliance with policies and state regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About the Role:

The Budtender greets and welcomes patients, helps patients with product selections, adheres to policies and procedures, and ensures a wonderful patient experience.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides a wonderful experience for the patient.
• Advises patients on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis.
• Keepes abreast of new cannabis products on the market as well as the latest industry trends.
• Processes patients’ payments using the dispensary's Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensures that the store is always clean and well-organized.
• Educates patients on the safe use of their selected cannabis product.
• Correctly weighs, packages, and labels cannabis products, as required.
• Checks patient’s identification documents to verify that they are of legal age and hold the necessary credentials needed to enter the dispensary and purchase product.
• Takes inventory of cannabis products and ensures that the sales floor is adequately stocked.
• Ensures that assigned opening and closing tasks are completed.
• Maintains compliance by following the proper policies and procedures set by the company and the state.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Education:

• High school diploma or GED
  
• Proven experience working as a Budtender is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass a background check and receive a facility agent card from the state.
• Sound knowledge of cannabis strains and their medicinal benefits.
• Outstanding organizational skills.

• Work well with other team members.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Must be able to lift to 25 pounds at times.
