The City of Vancouver, Washington is currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Crime Analyst in the Vancouver Police Department. Crime analysts work in the police precincts and perform a variety of professional and technical level duties involved in the organization, maintenance, and presentation of department statistical data. Work involves gathering, analyzing and interpreting information to accurately anticipate crime patterns and to make recommendations to resolve neighborhood and crime problems.
This position may occasionally be required to work on weekends and evenings.
Crime Analyst is a regular, full-time, exempt position.
