Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command in the Department of the Air Force is seeking a Budget Officer at the GS-0560-15 level. The incumbent will lead the Budget and Funds Management Division, providing expert guidance and managing budget formulation, justification, execution and reporting for the Transportation Working Capital Fund (TWCF) and Operations and Maintenance (O&M).

The position supports a unified, joint environment and is eligible for telework. Applications close 2026-11-09.

Competenze

• Security clearance: Sensitive Compartmented Information required.
• Direct-Hire Authority under PL 118-31, Sec 1250B(i)(2).

Mansioni

• Plans, organizes and oversees the activities of the Budget and Funds Management Division in the USTRANSCOM Program Analysis and Financial Management Directorate.
• Provides expert and technical guidance to division staff and represents USTRANSCOM with various installation and program areas.
• Oversees staff of budget analysts in formulation, justification, presentation, execution and reporting for TWCF and O&M; develops budgets and executes funding authority resources.
