New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYC Health Department) is seeking a Research Assistant responsible for budgeting, financial tracking, and grant-related tasks. The role involves monitoring budgets, reviewing contracts, and preparing fiscal analyses to support program decisions.
You will work with Assistant Directors and other staff to ensure accurate reporting and policy implementation.
The Finance Division at DOHMH has central responsibility and authority for all the finance, contracting, procurement, payroll, and revenue functions of the nation's largest local health department. DOHMH has approximately 7,000 employees and serves the nation's largest city of 8.8 million New Yorkers.
Position Summary: The Budget Analyst would be reporting to Assistant Directors along with other staff. The Budget Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, tracking, and financial management.
