California State University-San Bernardino is seeking a Budget Analyst to perform advanced fiscal analysis for the student affairs division, including stateside, auxiliary, and grant funding sources. The role reports to the Chief of Staff and Director of Operations & Fiscal Management.
You will lead budgeting activities, monitor resources, and prepare comprehensive analyses to support data-informed decisions. A strong foundation in public finance and internal controls is essential.

An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-to-year basis.
Prior knowledge and experience in higher education, preferably student affairs.
The salary offered will take into account internal equity and experience among other factors.
Initial salary step placement will be Step 1 - $5,877 - Step 10 -$7,023 per month for qualified candidates.
CSU Classification Salary Step Range: $5,877 - $8,561 per month (Step 1 - Step 20)

Work status: Full-time / Exempt / Probationary
Monday through Friday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm), some evenings/weekends.
