Job summary

FASTSIGNS of Arbutus is seeking a Bucket Truck Technician to install exterior signage up to 60 ft, traveling to client sites in Anne Arundel and Baltimore Counties. You will handle electrical and non-lit installations, require safe operation of equipment, and provide strong customer service.

The role emphasizes hands-on installation, tool use, and adherence to safety standards, with the opportunity to grow within a fast-paced, locally owned graphics solutions company.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• CDL certification or eligibility for company assistance.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 2 years bucket truck installer experience.
• Compliance with safety procedures.
• General construction knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders and emails.
• High attention to detail.
• Time management skills.
• Ability to work long hours and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bucket truck.
• Install and troubleshoot electrical signs (LED retrofit, channel letters, etc.).
• Install non-lit signs (banners, vinyl, MDO).
• Attend weekly in-store meetings and coordinate workflow.
• Maintain company bucket truck and schedule routine maintenance.
• Identify sales opportunities and support the sales process.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
