Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Bucket Operator to safely operate a bucket truck and remove branches from electrical lines. A valid driver’s license is required, and the role includes assisting in equipment prep, performing daily reporting in the AMS system, and maintaining safe on-site practices.

This is a safety-sensitive position with travel for storm restoration as needed. The job emphasizes teamwork, adherence to procedures, and a commitment to excellent customer relations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in Vegetation Management.
• Bucket truck operation experience required.
• Knowledge of daily maintenance and safe operations of all equipment used.
• Able to hear verbal instructions from a distance.
• Must have a driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must have skid steer w/ mulcher operation experience.
• Experience operating woodchipper.

Responsibilities

• Operate bucket truck to remove branches and tree material from lines.
• Follow safety practices and enforce rules on site.
• Assist in preparing equipment and materials daily.
• Perform duties for storm work as needed.
• Submit timesheets and billing information using AMS system.
• Maintain customer relations and report mileage to Foreperson.
