Qualifications

• BSN preferred; current RN license in state or Compact with US state where facility resides.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the facility's state or a multistate license.
• CPR certification per AHA standards with didactic and skills demonstration within 30 days of hire.
• One or more years CVOR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for patients.
• Circulate and scrub surgeries.
• Maintain sterile environment.
• Acquire knowledge of surgical equipment and instrumentation.
• Document care provided to patients.
• Perform scrub role (required for RNs hired on or after July 1, 2023).
• Demonstrate knowledge to care for patients across the life span per unit policy.
