Job summary

The Symicor Group is seeking a BSA Officer for a Chicago Ridge, IL banking client. The role supports the BSA Compliance Manager in fulfilling the Bank’s BSA/AML/OFAC program requirements and will monitor, identify, and manage BSA risks.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years of regulatory experience, knowledge of federal/state AML laws, and familiarity with OFAC monitoring software and the Fiserv core system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Two or more years of regulatory experience required.
• BSA/AML certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with the Fiserv core system and reports is desirable.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State anti-money laundering statutes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proficient knowledge of regulatory and related laws as they pertain to BSA compliance focus areas.
• Serves as program administrator for OFAC monitoring software, including data integrity testing and updates.
• Supports AML/CFT program implementation, policy adherence, and periodic reporting to management/board.
• Provides backup for CTRs and SARs as needed, including Exempt CTRs and SAR preparation.
• Backs up EDD and AML Systems oversight, reviewing high-risk customers and data controls.
