WesBanco, Inc. is seeking an FIU Officer to support its Financial Intelligence Unit within the Fraud, Bank Secrecy Act and Security Admin Department.

This entry‑level role monitors accounts and transactions to identify unusual activity and ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act. The position analyzes alerts from AML systems, creates cases for investigators, reviews due diligence and CIP records, and helps maintain regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or four years banking experience.
• 2+ years banking experience preferred.
• Experience with BSA/AML or Fraud is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and analyzes system generated BSA/AML/Fraud alerts for evidence of suspicious activity.
• Creates cases from alerts for further review by investigators and supervisors.
• Contacts bank personnel and customers on suspect items.
• Reviews Customer Due Diligence forms and CIP records for completeness.
• Analyzes customer history to ensure transactions align with expected activity.
• Ensures regulatory, legal, and bank requirements are met; complete trainings and attend meetings.
