The Symicor Group is seeking a BSA/AML Compliance Analyst for the Seattle, WA market. This role supports the Compliance Officer with monitoring reviews, due diligence, and regulatory task force initiatives.

Not a remote position, offering up to $75K with a full benefits package. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 3+ years in loan compliance or FinTech, with strong knowledge of AML statutes and FFIEC requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in loan compliance or FinTech desirable.
• General understanding of regulatory compliance and FFIEC requirements.
• General understanding of the digital payment processing environment.
• Required to handle multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Working knowledge of Federal and State Anti-Money Laundering compliance statutes and regulations.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance monitoring to ensure policies and regulatory requirements are met.
• Assist in initial due diligence review and validate the compliance management program and monitors the ongoing effectiveness of compliance risk management.
• Research, analyze, and draw conclusions related to federal and state rules and their applicability to products, services, and systems.
• Maintain a current thorough understanding of money laundering and terrorist financing issues, including policies, procedures, regulations, industry best practices, criminal activity, and trends.
• Implement assigned regulatory compliance responsibilities and activities associated with BSA/AML initiatives within the bank.
• Identify weaknesses in practice and procedure and recommend solutions that increase compliance without burdening the business unit.
• File all required reports with the appropriate federal agency and respond to information requests from law enforcement.
• Provide compliance assistance and information to all departments/functional units within the bank.
