Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 2+ years of BSA/AML experience and knowledge of related laws.
• Working knowledge of bank operations and financial principles.
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office; able to build reports and formulas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; detail-oriented.
• Self-starter who can work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, research, and analyze alerts and cases to support the Bank’s BSA Compliance program.
• Review and file SARs accurately and timely.
• Work with new individual/business account risk profiles.
• Review reports for BSA/AML/OFAC.
• Assist with enhanced due diligence and risk assessments.
• Gather data and develop methodology for annual BSA/AML/OFAC risk assessments.
• Identify sophisticated money laundering techniques, build a case, and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with account officers to obtain needed documentation.
• Support ad-hoc special projects as needed.
