Job summary

The Skill Set is seeking an experienced CAD Drafter to join our drafting team in Deerfield Beach, FL. The role focuses on translating hospitality design concepts into precise, manufacturable drawings and supporting ongoing project documentation.

You will use AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create 2D factory drawings and 3D models, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Furniture manufacturing exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CAD Operator or equivalent in manufacturing or engineering.
• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and a 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Ability to self-manage priorities and timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in workmanship.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with furniture manufacturing is a plus.

Knowledge of furniture assembly is a plus but not a requirement.

• Utilize CAD software to produce detailed and accurate factory drawings from design specifications.


• Ensure drawings comply with company drafting standards, industry codes, and applicable regulatory requirements.


• Maintain document control, versioning, and archive systems for all CAD files.


• Create new drawings and update existing drawings with client and internal changes


• Adapt, learn, and grow with the department as drawing standards are updated.
