Job summary

The Ruby Slipper Cafe in Charleston, SC is seeking enthusiastic servers to provide friendly and responsive service, creating an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You’ll embody the brunch life and help guests leave with a smile.

Ideal candidates communicate clearly, have basic math and POS skills, stand for long shift periods, and can lift trays up to 25lbs. Perks include days-only shifts, medical and dental benefits, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• A firm belief that butter and bacon make everything better.
• Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our Guests
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
• Possess basic math skills and can responsibly handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food frequently weighing up to 20 to 25lbs

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all our guests.
• Each server’s primary objective is to embody that brunch life and give our guests a little lagniappe to create those raving Ruby fans!
