Job summary

Focus Physical Therapy in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for a full-time, onsite role. You will develop individualized treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and educate families to support recovery.

The clinic emphasizes patient-centered care, collaboration, and ongoing education within a state-of-the-art facility. New York license and at least 1 year of rehab experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New York state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• At least 1 year of clinical rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises with clear instructions.
• Educate patients and families on injury prevention and home exercises.
• Administer modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Evaluate and document progress; adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain clean, organized treatment areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with Physical and Occupational Therapists for holistic care.
• Support patients with encouragement and emotional guidance.
• Adhere to professional ethics, confidentiality, and rights.
