Job summary
FlexStaff is seeking a Full-Time Field Registered Nurse to work for one of our clients, a multi-service home care organization. You will perform home visits to patients in Brooklyn, NY, with a Monday through Friday schedule (8:30AM-5:00PM) and a caseload of 20-25 patients per week.

Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited nursing program and NYS Registered Professional Nurse.
- At least 6 months inpatient nursing care experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
- Review medications and vital signs during evaluation tasks.
- Administer physician-prescribed medications.
- Dress or redress wounds and monitor healing progress.
- Educate patients and families on home health care procedures.
- Coordinate with physicians and therapists in the care plan.
- Maintain patient comfort through palliative care as needed.
- Suggest devices to improve quality of life.
