Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is opening a Family Enrichment Center in Brooklyn. The Family Advocate will build relationships with families, design and deliver offerings, and partner with local organizations to support community well‑being.

Qualifications

• BA or high school diploma with required years of experience.
• Experience in community-driven programs serving children, youth, and families.
• Minimum 5 years living/working in the Brooklyn Stuyvesant area; 2 years working with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with community members and stakeholders.
• Co-design and deliver relevant offerings.
• Engage in advocacy and collaborate with the FEC Advisory Board.
• Represent the FEC at community events and venues.
• Interact regularly with community members and facilitate offerings based on community priorities.
• Create monthly calendars, website content, and outreach tools to promote offerings; promote and document activities.
• Engage in data tracking and analysis, and compile written reports for external stakeholders.
