Job summary
Calvary Hospital in the Bronx is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to assume continuous patient care duties within our palliative care program. You will work under the Medical Director to provide comprehensive care to advanced cancer and terminally ill patients.
The ideal candidate holds NYS RN and NP licenses, a DEA license, and has substantial palliative care experience. This full-time role offers a comprehensive benefits package with opportunities for professional growth.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to initiate and complete complicated projects.
- 3600 hours of hospital/inpatient hospice/medical-surgical or palliative care experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interactions with patients, families, and staff.
- Capability to care for patients in advanced disease stages.
- Demonstrates caring and tradition-aligned attitude per Calvary Hospital duties.
Responsibilities
- Assume continuous duties of patient care as assigned by the Calvary Hospital Medical Director.
- Collaborate with care teams to support palliative care delivery.
- Maintain regulatory and clinical standards in patient care.
