Job summary

TheraCare is seeking a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) for Early Intervention in the Bronx, NY. This part-time, hourly, fee-for-service role provides services to children birth to age 3 in home and community settings, working with families and an interdisciplinary team.

You will evaluate needs, develop IFSP-aligned strategies, document services, and communicate with caregivers and coordinators. The position offers competitive rates and opportunities for CEUs and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current LMSW license issued by NYSED.
• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Experience working with children under 5 and/or families preferred.
• Knowledge of early childhood development and family-centered practice.
• Ability to work independently and manage documentation deadlines.
• Access to reliable transportation to travel throughout the borough.

Responsibilities

• Deliver social work services to children 0-3 in home and community settings.
• Provide support to families as part of an interdisciplinary Early Intervention team.
