Job summary

Brex is seeking a Manager of Broker-Dealer Operations in New York City. You will ensure compliant daily trading activities, define control environments, and build scalable operating rhythms across functions including Compliance, Legal, Product, and Engineering.

Hybrid role based in NYC, with three in-office days and up to four remote weeks per year. Requires Series 7/63/24, 5+ years in US banking operations or securities trading, and strong documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in US banking operations, securities trading, or a related function within a bank, fintech, or other regulated financial services environment.
• Series 7, 63, and 24 licensing required.
• Experience with regulated high-risk money movement workflows.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, Treasury, Finance, or external partners to resolve issues.
• Experience leading through audits, incidents, regulatory exams, or high-severity operational escalations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all trading activities at Brex are performed accurately and in a compliant manner.
• Create and maintain documented processes that are auditable by external stakeholders and regulators.
• Build a control framework to ensure accuracy and completeness of trading activity.
• Develop incident response and remediation playbooks for anomalies or errors.
• Address audits and regulatory findings promptly.
• Oversee escheatment processes and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Legal, Product, Engineering, and external partners to strengthen controls.
