Job summary

ForceShield, a leading media company in Akron, is seeking a Radio Technician to install, maintain, and repair broadcasting radio equipment including transmitters, receivers, antennas, and related gear. You will perform routine inspections, troubleshoot issues, read schematics, and keep meticulous maintenance records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Radio Technician.
• Knowledge of radio broadcasting systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair radio equipment used in broadcasting.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with radio equipment and make necessary repairs.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on all radio equipment.
• Ensure proper functioning of all radio equipment by conducting regular tests.
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on radio equipment.
• Stay up‑to-date with advancements in radio technology and make recommendations for upgrades or replacements as needed.
