Job summary
Curtis Media Group in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Broadcast Engineer/IT Technician to join our Engineering team. You will support Windows environments, broadcast automation software, and studio equipment across our facilities.
Ideal candidates have familiarity with RF/broadcast gear, network fundamentals, and hands-on repair abilities, including soldering and basic studio construction. This is an on-site role with opportunities to learn and grow in a dynamic radio operation.
Qualifications
- Experience with Windows operating systems across devices.
- Familiarity with broadcast automation software such as MediaTouch, BE AudioVault, and Wide Orbit.
- Basic knowledge of radio studio and audio equipment.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and LAN architecture.
- Ability to address IT problems in an office environment and broadcast-specific issues.
- Some RF/broadcast transmitter familiarity is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude with tools, soldering, and basic studio construction.
Responsibilities
- Provide IT support for Windows networks and office equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot broadcast automation and audio systems.
- Assist with RF equipment and transmitter maintenance as needed.
- Support studio construction and equipment repair tasks.
