Hockey Western New York, LLC is seeking a Broadcast Production intern to support Sabres Live with preproduction, studio work and postproduction. The role focuses on studio tasks, editing, feature shoots and logging video, with duties across the digital space.
The position is part-time for the 2026-2027 season, pays $16.00 per hour, and requires flexibility for evenings, weekends and holidays. A 2026-27 commitment is expected.
Reporting to Producer (Sabres Live), the Broadcast Production intern will assist with daily preproduction, studio production and postproduction for Sabres Live and assist Sabres game broadcast team as needed. The Broadcast Intern is part of a support staff for all broadcast-related activities within the company, and will have a focus on studio work, editing, assisting with feature content shoots, logging video but will help with various needs throughout the digital space.
This role pays $16.00 an hour. This is a part-time role and must have the flexibility to work extended hours, evenings, weekends and holidays. This is a temporary position for the 2026-2027 season.
This internship operations in both an office setting and in a live events setting. Live event coverage does consist of being around loud stadium noises and crowds. While performing job duties, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, run, reach, kneel, and crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and focused vision. Candidate must be able to operate, transport and manipulate camera equipment up to 50 pounds.
