Job summary

WAND-TV in Decatur, Illinois, is looking for a Broadcast Engineer to assist with critical operations at our facility. One year of experience as a Broadcast Engineer or relevant coursework is required.

Further training is available for the right candidate with a strong basis of technical knowledge and a desire to advance their skills through on-site training and occasional classes or seminars. This position will be responsible for maintenance, installation, and repair of all electronic equipment

Qualifications

• One year of experience as a Broadcast Engineer or relevant coursework.
• Self-motivated and flexible to work a varied schedule; nights, weekends, holidays, on-call as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, installation, and repair of all electronic equipment as well as office equipment.
• Troubleshoot at a component level for electrical equipment, computers, and computerized systems.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed.
