iHeartMedia is seeking a part-time Board Operator in Louisville to provide programming and control board support for On‑Air Talent. The role includes operating the control board in studios and remote setups, monitoring audio quality, and managing commercials and playlists.

Ideal candidates bring experience in similar roles, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and proficiency with MS Office. You will also handle censoring, emergency inserts, and coordination with Engineering to maintain

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including evenings, overnights and weekends.
• Fast-paced environment experience a must.
• MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Operate control board for studios and remote programming.
• Regulate timing, run syndicated programming and commercials.
• Monitor quality of on-air programming from master control room.
• Assist with off-air production and automation programming.
• Censor live programs to protect station license.
• Execute playlists for various programming formats.
• Ensure transmission meets federally mandated standards.
• Handle time-out programming for accurate playback.
• Update weather, traffic and news in automation systems.
• Check studio equipment and report issues to Engineering.
• Screen callers and select on-air guests.
• Manage emergency inserts and breaking stories.
