Job summary

Astound is seeking a Broadband Technician I in Massachusetts to perform residential install, service/repair, and disconnects on customer premises according to organizational standards and specs. You will ensure RF and signal levels meet specifications, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

You will communicate with leadership and dispatch to maintain productive routes, safety, and time management, and educate customers on products and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• 6+ months of satisfactory metrics or 1+ years external telecommunications technician experience.
• Maintain driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform Residential install, service/repair, and disconnects on customer premises according to standards and specs.
• Ensure RF and signal levels meet specifications before completion to reduce repeat calls and truck rolls.
• Maintain communication with leadership and dispatch to sustain productive routes, safety and time management.
• Provide customer education on products and services, including upsell opportunities to increase satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
