Job summary

American Liquidations LLC is opening a new Bristol, CT store and is hiring friendly Retail Sales Associates to deliver a positive shopping experience and help launch the new location.

We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a pay rate of $18.00–$20.00 per hour, dependent on experience. In this role you'll greet customers, help with product selection, operate POS, restock, and maintain a helpful, inviting sales floor.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, grocery, hospitality, or sales experience is preferred, but not required.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Team-oriented and reliable with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with a friendly and welcoming attitude
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the shopping experience
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
• Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and promotions
• Restock merchandise and maintain organized displays
• Recover the sales floor throughout the day to keep the store clean and inviting
• Assist with receiving and putting away merchandise
• Help customers load larger purchases when needed
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Work as part of a team to achieve daily store goals
