Job summary

Primera Engineers is seeking a civil engineering intern in Chicago, IL. You will assist experienced engineers in preparing studies and design plans for transportation projects, including structural elements and inspections.

As a student, you will gain hands‑on experience, work closely with our team of experts, and contribute to real‑world solutions while polishing CAD skills and engineering fundamentals.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree program in civil engineering with GPA 3.0+.
• Junior or higher in curriculum and dedicated to learning.
• Enrolled in civil engineering program and eager for hands‑on design experience in a real project environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with projects studies/reports and design plans for projects including structural elements.
• Support data collection and prepare technical calculations under supervision.
• Draft plans using CAD and organize project documentation and filing.
