Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in structural engineering focused on bridge design.
• Thorough understanding of and practical experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
• Experience with VDOT standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for transportation bridge and highway projects.
• Prepare design documentation, calculations, specifications, and reports.
• Conduct inspections as required.
