Dewberry is seeking a Structural (Bridge) Engineer to join our structures department in Virginia offices. The successful candidate will design bridges (concrete and steel) and transportation structures, develop PS&E packages, and grow their technical and project management skills.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural engineering required; MS preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience on structural and bridge engineering projects.
• Virginia PE license preferred or ability to obtain within 1-2 years.
• Familiarity with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications; VA MD standards preferred.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design simple and complex bridges (concrete and steel) and related structures.
• Develop Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) packages.
• Collaborate within the structures department and deliver high-quality projects.
