Job summary

Kimley-Horn is seeking Engineering students to join our Mobile, Alabama office for an on-site internship. You will use AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, GIS and related tools to analyze, produce, and QC client deliverables.

You will contribute to pre-construction on bridges and other structural projects, preparing plans, specs, and estimates while learning federal, state, and local regulations and Kimley-Horn practices.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in ABET-accredited engineering program (Bachelor's or Master's).
• Majors include Civil, Environmental, Structural or related engineering.
• Engineering Technology also considered for internship opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize technical software to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients.
• Contribute to pre-construction on structural projects like bridges and walls.
• Prepare bridge/structural plans, specs, and estimates for clients.
• Collaborate across disciplines to realize clients' visions for built environments.
• Learn and apply federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
