Job summary

Greystone seeks a Summer 2027 Bridge Sales Desk Intern in New York, NY. This paid internship provides hands-on experience supporting the team that analyzes, sizes, quotes, and issues applications for MF/HC bridge and mezzanine loans, with potential path to FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, or CMBS refinancing.

You will assist with real estate data analysis, loan sizing, and market research while developing financial modeling and presentation skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• Fundamental real estate knowledge through prior internships and coursework.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time management skills and a respect for deadlines.
• Driven, innovative team player who is focused on results and strives to deliver a superior work product.
• Proven track record of success in prior academic or work experience.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Intern to join our Multifamily/Healthcare Bridge Sales Desk for our Summer 2027 Internship Program. Our summer internship program is geared towards rising seniors pursuing an undergraduate degree. As an Intern, you will provide organizational and analytical support for the team that analyzes, sizes, quotes, and issues applications for MF/HC bridge and mezzanine loans with a path towards Greystone FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or CMBS permanent refinancing. This is a unique opportunity to build a foundation for a strong career in commercial real estate by working alongside experts who drive the industry every day.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze real estate financial data for multifamily or healthcare properties.
• Assist with up-front deal screening and due diligence tasks including rent roll analysis, preliminary loan sizing analysis, preparation of loan quotes.

Experience, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited college or university is required.
• Fundamental real estate knowledge through prior internships and coursework.
• Strong communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Must have good analytical skills.

Interns hired in NYC for summer 2027 will be compensated at $29/hour.
