Qualifications

• Experience in ironwork, structural steel, bridge maintenance, or related construction.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Strong safety and quality mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist welders with welding prep and steel fabrication.
• Support steel installation and structural repair on bridges.
• Perform beam-end retrofit and preservation work per project specs.
• Install, position, and secure steel components.
• Assist with rebar installation and reinforcement tasks.
• Operate hand and power tools safely.
• Conduct material handling and site prep activities.
• Follow project plans, work instructions, and safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Travel to Maryland project sites as required.
