Candidates may range from EITs with inspection experience to licensed PEs; a PE license is preferred but not required. Hybrid work available in select locations.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis or equivalent.
• EIT 2+ years of bridge inspection experience or 5+ years for non-degree candidates or PE with 6 months to 10+ years of bridge inspection experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required for all.
• Travel ~50% and ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager with scope, hours estimates and budget tracking.
• Provide design status updates and supervise discipline tasks.
• Oversee sub-tasks and ensure quality control per PMP.
• Lead and mentor design staff and coordinate with clients and sub-consultants.
• Develop extra work orders and contract task proposals.
• Plan, coordinate and perform engineering work and prepare plans, specs and estimates.
• Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and quality targets.
• Provide technical oversight to Design Engineers and ensure NBIS compliance.
