Job summary

TYLin is seeking an Intern Bridge Engineering Designer for Summer 2026. You will support engineers across a variety of project tasks, learning hands-on through close guidance and collaborative teamwork.

The role emphasizes growth in design, documentation, and modeling, with exposure to codes and standards, and site visits. A BS in Civil Engineering is preferred, with ongoing undergrad status.

Qualifications

• Current 3rd or 4th year student or graduate student in an accredited Civil Engineering program.
• BS degree preferred; proficiency with Word, Excel, and engineering software is a plus.
• Experience with engineering software such as SAP 2000, CSI Bridge; experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Become familiar with project plans and details.
• Perform quantity take-offs.
• Assist with project monitoring and scheduling.
• Assist with computer modeling.
• Assist in producing progress reports.
