Job summary

gpac partners with a successful engineering firm to recruit a Senior Bridge Engineer in Michigan. You will lead bridge and structural design projects, manage key client relationships, and serve as the primary technical contact on assignments.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Civil/Structural Engineering, PE, and 10+ years in bridge design, with experience in AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, and OpenRoads. This role offers growth, a great culture, flexible scheduling, and a signing bonus.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil / Structural Engineering or related field.
• PE required.
• 10+ years experience in bridge design.
• Prior project management experience highly preferred.
• AutoCAD, Civil3D, MicroStation, Open Roads experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and serve as the primary technical client contact on projects.
• Perform bridge and other structural design engineering, bridge inspections and other assignments.
• Perform analyses and design required for highway bridge structures, retaining walls, and related elements.
• Track and maintain project budgets and schedules.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, quantities, and proposals.
