Job summary

PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Bridge Engineer in Columbus, OH to perform structural load calculations, develop bridge plans and specifications, and oversee geometry and quantity development. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in bridge engineering.
• EIT or PE certification required.
• 2 years in bridge plan production.
• 2 years in bridge design projects.
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural load calculations and bridge plan/specifications development.
• Oversee geometric layout and quantity development.
• Check design calculations, construction cost estimates, and plan development produced by other engineers.
• Prepare reports and maintain frequent client interaction.
• Serve as Technical Specialist or Task Leader on large projects and supervise junior engineers.

Salary Range: $100,963.00 To $110,963.00 Annually

PRIME AE Group, Inc. seeks a Bridge Engineer in Columbus, OH.

Perform structural load calculations and bridge plan/specifications development. Oversee geometric layout and quantity development. Check design calculations/construction cost estimates/plan development produced by other engineers. Typical bridge projects include precast concrete girder (pre-stressed and/or post-tensioned) and steel plate or steel box girder for highway, waterway, and rail projects. Strong technical skills in Engineering analysis and design combined with a proven background of technical leadership on these types of projects. Perform as a Technical Specialist or Task Leader on large projects and supervise Junior Engineers in the performance of engineering tasks. Report preparation and frequent client interaction.

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related (or its equivalent) plus 3 years of experience. EIT or PE required.

• 2 years of experience in bridge plan production in a professional setting.
• 2 years of experience in various aspects of bridge design projects.
• 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office, CADD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.) and structural design software.

Must also have authority to work permanently in the U.S. Wage range: $100,963.00 to $110,963.00.
