Job summary

KPFF Consulting Engineers is seeking a Bridge Designer 2-4 Years - Structural for the Greater Los Angeles Structural office. The role offers full-time employment, with a hybrid schedule (in-office 2 days/week after training) and a strong emphasis on growth, collaboration, and delivering robust infrastructure design.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering (with a structural emphasis).
• M.S in Civil Engineering preferred (with a structural emphasis).
• EIT is required.
• Concrete, steel, and timber coursework and/or design experience.
• Pre-stressed concrete and seismic coursework and/or design experience.
• Familiarity with non-linear analysis.
• Ability to work dynamically with clients and project team members.
• At least two years of full-time experience as a structural DE or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Work on a variety of public and private clients from planning through construction.
• Contribute to planning, design, permitting, and construction of structural projects.
• Focus on infrastructure projects including bridges and waterfront structures in the West Coast region.
• Collaborate in a team structure and participate in professional growth through training and events.
